Position: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Cumming, Georgia
Duration: 13 Weeks (40hrs a week)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM (10*4) or Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm (8*5)
Note: No local candidates within 50 miles
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Assist with fluoroscopic procedures and ensure proper imaging quality.
- Support operating room procedures utilizing C-arm equipment.
- Perform routine X-rays, lumbar puncture imaging support, and other radiology procedures as assigned.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Cerner EMR.
- Follow radiation safety standards and departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience within the specialty.
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Recent experience with Fluoroscopy (Fluoro) procedures required.
- Recent Operating Room (OR) experience required.
- Experience with C-arm procedures preferred.
- Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.
- 24-hour Diagnostic Radiology Department.
- Approximately 150 exams performed every 24 hours.
- Provides both inpatient and outpatient imaging services.
- Procedures include routine X-rays, fluoroscopic exams, lumbar punctures, and C-arm procedures.
