Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM | Evenings | 40 Hours/Week
Location: 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming, GA 30041

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience required.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Current ARRT (Radiography) Certification and state licensure (if applicable) required.
• Operating Room (OR) and Fluoroscopy experience is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting preferred.

Department Overview

• 24-hour Diagnostic Imaging Department performing approximately 150 imaging exams every 24 hours.
• Provides imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Performs a wide variety of diagnostic radiology and fluoroscopic procedures in a high-volume environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Conduct both inpatient and outpatient imaging procedures, including routine X-rays and fluoroscopic studies.
• Provide imaging support in the Operating Room, including C-arm procedures during surgical cases.
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures such as lumbar punctures and other image-guided examinations.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection principles, infection control standards, and departmental policies.
