Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM | 8.5 Hour Shifts | Total Weekly Hours: 37.5 – 42.5 Hours
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer for an exciting contract opportunity in Elmhurst, NY.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure image quality and patient safety standards are maintained
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care
- Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience required
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program or Military Training equivalent
- Current ARRT certification and registration required
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH) required
- Associate Degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
- BLS certification preferred
