Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in radiologic technology to a dynamic healthcare environment, where you will support a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures and directly contribute to patient care and safety. This contract opportunity focuses on serving both routine and trauma cases, ensuring reliable, efficient services for patients, staff, and regulatory partners.

Schedule:

  • Five 8-hour shifts, 3:00pm–11:30pm
  • Every third weekend rotation (same hours)
  • On-call responsibilities during assigned weekends

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech)
  • Demonstrated proficiency working within the operating room (OR)
  • Proven experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital setting
  • Solid grasp of radiation safety and ALARA standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients
  • Familiarity with information service systems used in hospital settings
  • Commitment to upholding clinical quality standards, accurate documentation, and safety protocols

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full spectrum of radiology procedures, including portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and intraoperative imaging, following physicians’ orders
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation for all exams and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with medical providers, radiologists, and hospital departments to ensure optimal care and workflow efficiency
  • Practice and promote proper patient education regarding procedures to enhance the patient experience
  • Comply with all facility policies, incident reporting requirements, and regulatory guidelines for imaging services
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond efficiently to urgent radiology needs during assigned shifts
