Schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts, 3:00pm–11:30pm
- Every third weekend rotation (same hours)
- On-call responsibilities during assigned weekends
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech)
- Demonstrated proficiency working within the operating room (OR)
- Proven experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital setting
- Solid grasp of radiation safety and ALARA standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients
- Familiarity with information service systems used in hospital settings
- Commitment to upholding clinical quality standards, accurate documentation, and safety protocols
Responsibilities:
- Perform a full spectrum of radiology procedures, including portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and intraoperative imaging, following physicians’ orders
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation for all exams and procedures
- Collaborate closely with medical providers, radiologists, and hospital departments to ensure optimal care and workflow efficiency
- Practice and promote proper patient education regarding procedures to enhance the patient experience
- Comply with all facility policies, incident reporting requirements, and regulatory guidelines for imaging services
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond efficiently to urgent radiology needs during assigned shifts
