An established healthcare system located in South Florida, approximately 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join its Express Care imaging team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with at least one year of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in a fast-paced outpatient/express-care environment while providing excellent patient care.

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position

• 8:30 AM–9:00 PM schedule
• Day/evening coverage

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examinations clearly.
• Verify patient identification, clinical history, and examination orders.
• Position patients appropriately for radiographic examinations.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques based on the examination ordered.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and obtain additional images when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation-safety and ALARA principles.
• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Practice appropriate infection-control procedures.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues or malfunctions.
• Perform required quality-control procedures.
• Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional radiologic responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience required.
• ARRT certification/registry required.
• Appropriate Florida radiologic licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and image quality.
• Demonstrated ability to independently perform routine diagnostic radiographic examinations.
• Outpatient, urgent-care, express-care, or hospital imaging experience preferred.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Ability to work the required day/evening schedule.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality imaging, and regulatory compliance.
