Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist (Fluoroscopy) to support fluoroscopy-guided procedures in a busy outpatient setting. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working closely with Physicians, utilizing advanced imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures, maintaining radiation safety standards, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist (Fluoroscopy):
  • Perform fluoroscopy and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  • Prepare and assist Physicians during image-guided procedures.
  • Position patients accurately and safely to obtain optimal imaging results.
  • Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.
  • Monitor and document radiation exposure and patient dosage information.
  • Enter accurate imaging and patient information into PACS.
  • Ensure completed studies are ready for review and interpretation.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or repair needs.
  • Follow infection control, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Deliver outstanding patient service and support throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
Required Experience/Skills for the Radiologic Technologist (Fluoroscopy):
  • Experience operating radiographic imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and patient positioning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
  • Proficiency in PACS and electronic documentation systems.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Radiologic Technologist (Fluoroscopy):
  • Previous fluoroscopy experience.
  • Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, or procedural-based imaging.
  • Experience assisting physicians during image-guided procedures.
  • Knowledge of outpatient specialty practice workflows.
Education Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT (R) certification is required.
  • Current State Radiologic Technologist License/Permit required.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
