    About the Role:

    The Radiologic Technologist I-VI plays a critical role in the healthcare system by performing diagnostic imaging examinations that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This position involves operating sophisticated radiologic equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist must adhere to strict protocols and radiation safety standards to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals is essential to provide accurate and timely imaging results. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to patient care by enabling precise diagnosis and effective treatment planning through expert imaging services.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    • Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credential.
    • Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the United States.
    • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning techniques.
    • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, or fluoroscopy.
    • Additional certifications in specialized imaging techniques or modalities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and radiology information systems (RIS).
    • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuing education.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging techniques according to established protocols.
    • Prepare and position patients accurately to obtain the best possible images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
    • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
    • Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and coworkers from unnecessary exposure.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images for quality and assist in diagnostic interpretation as needed.
    • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
    • Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns or questions they may have.
    • Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and best practices.
