Job Profile Summary:
This position emphasizes the use of various imaging techniques and practices to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Responsibilities include performing Diagnostic Radiology tasks, evaluating physical conditions related to diagnostics, and operating medical imaging equipment. This role requires specialized knowledge or skills acquired through vocational education, training, and experience, primarily focused on patient care and/or scientific/laboratory functions. It is an experienced-level position that necessitates a foundational understanding of job procedures and tools gained through work experience and vocational or technical education. The role operates under moderate supervision, addressing routine issues while occasionally requiring interpretation or deviation from standard procedures, and involves communicating information that may need some explanation.
Job Overview:
Conduct radiologic procedures on assigned patients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. Ensure that radiologic procedures adhere to safety, accuracy, and timeliness standards, meeting the American College of Radiology (ACR) imaging guidelines, enabling the radiologist and/or physician to make informed diagnoses. Take responsibility for designated areas and/or procedures as assigned, collaborating effectively within departments and other service lines to foster a quality healthcare system.
