    Job Summary

    Rad Tech - Per diem position for our Limerick Outpatient Center.

    Work Schedule:

    • MInimum 48 hours in a 6 week schedule; no on call, holiday or weekend rotation
    • The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures , producing images for the interpretation by, or at the Request of a licensed independent practitioner.
    • Radiographers must demonstrates an understanding of the human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
    • must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They must maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
    • prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy.
    • remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements

    • Post High School Diploma Program

    Experience

    • Relevant Experience

    Certification and Licensure

    • BLS Certification
    • RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date
