Additional Compensation

  • $25,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $10,000 Relocation Assistance
  • $10,000 Annual Geographic Differential Pay

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist / Mammographer for an exciting opportunity in Wrangell, AK.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and mammographic imaging procedures
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, stereotactic breast biopsies, and breast localization procedures
  • Ensure radiation safety practices and adherence to imaging protocols
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Assist with CT and interventional imaging procedures as needed
  • Operate imaging equipment and contrast injectors
  • Support sterile technique and assist with invasive imaging procedures
  • Consult with physicians and radiologists regarding imaging protocols and patient care
  • Adapt imaging techniques for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
  • Perform venipuncture and contrast administration as needed
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain required CEUs
  • Assist with departmental operations and cross-modality coverage

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • BLS certification required within 45 days of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of radiologic imaging experience required
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging principles and radiation safety
  • Competency in mammography procedures and quality control standards
  • Ability to work across multiple imaging modalities
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work in high-stress clinical environments
  • Ability to maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
  • Willingness to participate in call coverage and rotate across imaging modalities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CT imaging and interventional radiology procedures preferred
  • Experience with multiple imaging modalities including CT, MRI, and Mammography preferred
