    Part-Time Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab)

    Mondays & Fridays or PRN | Western Vascular Institute

    Position Summary

    Western Vascular Institute is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab experience to join our team of skilled vascular professionals. This position provides procedural support primarily on Mondays and Fridays or PRN in our in-office angio-suite.

    Candidates with Cardiac Cath Lab experience are strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow within our specialty.

    The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient-focused, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced procedural environment.

    Schedule

    • Part-Time
    • Primary coverage on Mondays and Fridays
    • Additional hours may be available based on clinic and procedural needs

    Key Skills & Experience

    • Cardiac Cath Lab experience
    • Fluoroscopic imaging and radiation safety
    • Portable C-arm operation
    • Sterile technique and surgical scrubbing
    • Patient monitoring and procedural support
    • EMR/EHR systems (NextGen experience is a plus)

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide fluoroscopic guidance to physicians during vascular procedures.
    • Scrub and assist physicians during vascular procedures.
    • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
    • Monitor and document patient vital signs throughout procedures.
    • Prepare patients and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique and safety standards.
    • Maintain procedural equipment, supplies, and inventory.
    • Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards within the in-office angio-suite.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Proper disposal of contaminated and biohazardous materials.
    • Thorough cleaning and sanitization of procedure rooms and equipment.
    • Accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations.

    Certification & Education Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
    • Current ARRT certification
    • Current Arizona Radiologic Technologist License 
    • Current BLS and ACLS certification

    Preferred

    • ARRT Advanced Certification in Cardiac-Interventional (CI) or Vascular-Interventional (VI)
    • Previous Cardiac Cath Lab or Vascular Imaging experience
    • Experience scrubbing vascular procedures
