Radiologic Technologist (C-Arm) - PRN Pool 

Location: Riverside – Downtown or Southside
Schedule: PRN / As Needed

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist to join our PRN pool supporting physicians in an operating room setting. This role focuses on fluoroscopic imaging using a C‑arm for pain management procedures and spinal surgeries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside surgeons and pain management providers in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate C‑arm fluoroscopy equipment during pain management and spinal surgery procedures
  • Position patients accurately to ensure high-quality diagnostic and procedural imaging
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and OR staff to support safe and efficient procedures
  • Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure proper use of shielding and protective equipment
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and procedure rooms
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate records per departmental and regulatory standards
  • Comply with all hospital, safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies

 

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active Radiologic Technologist license (state-specific, as applicable)
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R])
  • Demonstrated experience operating C‑arm equipment in an OR or procedural setting
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in pain management, spine, or orthopedic surgery environments
  • Current BLS certification
  • Flexible availability to support PRN scheduling needs

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move and position patients and imaging equipment
  • Lift and move equipment in compliance with safety guidelines
