Overview
As a Radiologic Technologist, you understand that your role goes beyond performing diagnostic imaging exams - it is also about creating a positive and reassuring experience for every patient. In this role, you will perform ionizing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in a variety of clinical settings according to physician orders, applying sound judgment in exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care practices. Education:
Licensure
Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
Registered Radiological Technologist A.R.R.T. (R) required.
The bone densitometry (BD) certification is not required at the time of hire; however, the certificate must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
BLS Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
Pay Range
USD $40.06 - USD $57.28 /Hr.
