Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer |Contract
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Evening/Night Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Hours: 37.5–40 Hours Per Week
Responsibilities:
Perform general diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures.
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Ensure proper image quality, labeling, and patient identification.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
Follow physician orders and imaging protocols.
Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital policies.
Provide patient education and instructions during imaging procedures.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.
Preferred:
BLS certification.
Prior hospital-based imaging experience.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently in high-volume settings.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program.
Active ARRT certification and registration required.
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and anatomy.
Ability to work evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
