Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer |Contract

Location: Bronx, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: Evening/Night Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Hours: 37.5–40 Hours Per Week        

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures.

  • Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Ensure proper image quality, labeling, and patient identification.

  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.

  • Follow physician orders and imaging protocols.

  • Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital policies.

  • Provide patient education and instructions during imaging procedures.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

  • Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.

Preferred:

  • BLS certification.

  • Prior hospital-based imaging experience.

  • Strong communication and patient care skills.

  • Ability to work independently in high-volume settings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience.

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program.

  • Active ARRT certification and registration required.

  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.

  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and anatomy.

  • Ability to work evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
