Local: $68 - $72/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer to perform general radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and high-quality diagnostic imaging in accordance with established procedures and New York State requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience
• Completion of an appropriate Radiologic Technologist training program, including acceptable military training
• Current ARRT certification and registration
• Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License
• General Radiography experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic examinations according to established clinical protocols
• Properly position patients and operate radiographic equipment safely
• Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable regulatory standards
• Verify patient information and examination orders
• Provide appropriate patient care and communication
• Produce quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Follow department policies and procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
