Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer

Location: Bronx, NY
Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hour
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 5 Days per Week | 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to join a high-volume Diagnostic Imaging department. The ideal candidate will possess strong radiography skills, excellent patient care abilities, and the capability to work independently during overnight shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiographic examinations
• Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal imaging results
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control guidelines
• Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support patient care
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment according to facility standards
• Follow departmental protocols and regulatory requirements
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or approved military training program
• Current ARRT Certification and Registration required
• Active New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License required
• Minimum 1 year of recent General Radiographer experience required
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety principles
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• English proficiency required (Speak, Read, and Write)

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS Certification preferred
• Experience in acute care hospital imaging departments
• Experience working overnight shifts
