Imaging Informaticist

Location: Renton, WA
Pay Range: $38.93 - $54.76/hr
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Days

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Informaticist to support and optimize enterprise-wide imaging systems across clinical facilities. This position is responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and integration of PACS, RIS, VNA, and other imaging workflow systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and support Fuji Synapse PACS, Fuji VNA, Fuji Cardiology PACS, Laurel Bridge Compass, and related imaging systems
• Maintain and optimize DICOM routing, prefetching, archiving, and multi-site imaging workflows
• Troubleshoot RIS, PACS, imaging workflow, modality connectivity, and archive issues
• Support HL7/ADT/RIS/PACS interfaces and cross-system integrations
• Collaborate with Radiology, Cardiology, IT, Informatics, and clinical leadership
• Support imaging workflows across Radiology, Cardiology, Women's Health, and point-of-care ultrasound
• Assist with system upgrades, implementations, downtime operations, and disaster recovery
• Develop workflow guides, downtime procedures, and routing documentation
• Provide training and technical support to imaging and IT staff

Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Radiology/Imaging, or related field
• ARRT certification required
• 3+ years of experience working with imaging systems in a Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology setting
• 1+ year of experience supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining RIS
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards
• Experience with PACS and dictation systems preferred
• CT ARRT certification preferred
• Certified PACS Administrator or CIIP certification preferred
