- High School Diploma or GED.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (or registry eligible with certification obtained within 6 months).
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems preferred.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations and patient positioning.
- Review physician orders and patient history to ensure appropriate imaging studies.
- Operate radiology equipment and apply proper imaging techniques.
- Administer IV contrast when required and monitor patients for reactions.
- Follow radiation protection and ALARA safety standards.
- Manage PACS and RIS workflows, including image quality review and study completion.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support infection control, patient safety, and departmental protocols.
- Assist in training new staff and students when needed.
Seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The technologist will be responsible for patient preparation, image acquisition, radiation safety, documentation, and ensuring high-quality imaging services while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
