Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

5x8 Mid Shifts
Shift Timing: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Elmhurst, New York. The ideal candidate will have strong general radiography experience, excellent technical skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures according to department protocols
Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report equipment concerns promptly
Requirements
Minimum one year of General Radiographer experience required
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program or Military Training required
Current ARRT Certification and Registration required
Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License required
Associate’s Degree preferred
Current BLS Certification preferred
Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
