Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technologist will operate radiographic equipment, position patients safely and accurately, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and maintain compliance with radiation safety and patient care standards.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required

  • Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice

  • ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification

  • Fluoroscopy license/certification as required by state regulations

  • Knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures and radiation safety

  • Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.

  • Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.

  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Verify image quality and transmit studies through PACS for physician interpretation.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.

  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and report any significant findings or concerns.

  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and quality control of imaging equipment.

  • Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and organizational policies.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
