Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
ARRT (R) Certification – Required
Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (TX MRT) License – Required
BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
Experience assisting with Operating Room (OR) procedures preferred
Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, maintaining radiation protection standards, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures according to departmental protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient identification protocols.
Assist with imaging support during surgical and operating room procedures as needed.
Monitor equipment performance and report any operational concerns.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to provide efficient patient care.
Deliver compassionate, professional care while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
