Radiologic Technologist – Weekend Shift

Overview: The Judge Group is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Schedule:

• Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM (Weekend Block Schedule)
• Holidays: Rotating
• • 1 Major Holiday annually (Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas)
  • 2 Minor Holidays annually

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiographic procedures including X-ray and CT imaging
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper technical settings for optimal image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with established protocols
• Perform mobile imaging in ER and bedside settings as needed
• Prepare and disinfect imaging rooms and equipment between patients
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Patient Care Duties

• Identify patients and verify procedures prior to imaging
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Review patient history and confirm exam readiness
• Transport patients as needed
• Respond to patient needs and assist with basic care when necessary

Radiation Safety & Compliance

• Follow all radiation safety protocols and minimize exposure
• Utilize shielding and proper positioning techniques
• Wear radiation monitoring devices at all times
• Ensure safety of patients, staff, and visitors

Documentation & Communication

• Accurately document procedures and patient data in EMR/EHR systems
• Ensure imaging and reports are completed in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff on patient care
• Report changes in patient condition appropriately
