Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your radiologic technologist career by supporting critical diagnostic services with a focus on trauma and surgical imaging. This contract position calls for a skilled Radiology Tech or X-Ray Tech with extensive experience in high acuity hospital settings, including level 1 or 2 trauma, as well as prior operating room exposure. Here, your expertise will be crucial for a diverse range of cases, particularly those involving orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures.

Schedule:

  • 3:00am – 3:30pm shifts

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous experience in a level 1 or level 2 trauma center
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in the operating room, with preference for candidates experienced in ortho, neuro, and vascular cases
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
  • Assist surgeons and clinical staff with intraoperative imaging for orthopedic, neurological, and vascular procedures
  • Respond swiftly and effectively during trauma cases to provide real-time imaging support
  • Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control and hospital protocols
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information in electronic medical records
