About the Position
Mitchell Technical College (MTC) is seeking a visionary and experienced leader to fill the dual role of Radiologic Technology Program Director / Faculty Instructor for our Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program.
This full-time leadership position begins August 2026. It provides an exceptional opportunity to direct curriculum strategy, maintain rigorous accreditation compliance standards, and directly shape the next generation of skilled medical imaging professionals in a supportive, student-centered environment.
Program Overview
The Radiologic Technology program at Mitchell Technical College is a comprehensive 21-month AAS degree that seamlessly combines rigorous didactic instruction, hands-on laboratory training, and clinical rotations across a diverse network of healthcare facilities in South Dakota. Students receive premier training in radiographic positioning, patient care, radiation safety, imaging equipment, pathology, and advanced modalities. Graduates are fully prepared for successful careers in hospitals, clinics, and medical offices, and are eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national certification examination.
