Job Description

Minnesota State College Southeast seeks a Radiography Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. This position is a temporary full-time fixed term faculty position. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives. Faculty members at Minnesota State College Southeast are professionally active scholars who participate in departmental and campus-wide activities to enhance their disciplines, promote interdisciplinary discourse and collaboration, and advance the college mission.  The college is committed to reflecting a diversity of perspectives and backgrounds among its administrators, faculty and staff.

Duties Include:

  • Participate in department and college curriculum development.
  • Deliver classroom, web-enhanced and/or online course instruction.
  • Conduct classroom research and other assessment/evaluation activities.
  • Mentor and advise students.
  • Participate in committee assignments and college-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in department accreditation and review.
  • Engage in scholarly and other professional development activities.
  • Course assignments may include day, evening, and weekend hours; and off-site locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree

Occupational Requirement

  • Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered technologist.

Recency Requirement

  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.

Professional Requirement

  • Certified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of communication, organization and presentations
  • Experience in teaching
  • Ability to work with a diverse student population

Salary Range:

Full-time faculty salaries currently range from $43,067- $96,601 annually. Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty. The initial starting salary for this position will not exceed $71,893.00.
