Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and produce high-quality images to assist healthcare providers in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The technologist will operate X-ray equipment while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and professional standards.

Position Details

  • Location: Chula Vista, CA

  • Assignment Type: 4-month temporary assignment with potential for temp-to-hire

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 10:30 AM 7:00 PM

  • Pay Rate: $42.83 $59.29 per hour

  • Bill Rate: $68.53 $94.86 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

  • Operate available X-ray equipment safely and effectively.

  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images of various areas of the body.

  • Maintain quality patient care throughout the imaging process.

  • Follow established clinical, safety, and patient-care standards.

  • Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare team members.

  • Maintain a patient-focused approach while performing radiographic procedures.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Successful completion of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination.

  • Active California Radiologic Technologist Radiography (CRT-R) license.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an outpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.

  • Strong patient-care and communication skills.

  • Ability to operate radiographic equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety.

Work Environment

This position is based in an outpatient healthcare setting and requires regular interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. The technologist must be able to perform radiographic procedures while maintaining appropriate safety and quality standards.
