Position Summary
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiologist to provide inpatient, on-site diagnostic imaging services at a hospital-based practice in Zephyrhills, Florida. This position offers a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule and focuses on high-quality, timely imaging interpretation in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret a broad range of inpatient diagnostic imaging studies, which may include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, based on training and credentialing.
- Provide imaging coverage for inpatient units and the emergency department.
- Communicate findings clearly and promptly with referring physicians and care teams.
- Participate in on-site radiology coverage during scheduled shifts.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting in the radiology information system and electronic health record.
- Adhere to departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities.
- Support patient safety initiatives and evidence-based imaging practices.
Schedule and Work Environment
- 7 days on / 7 days off rotating schedule.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- DEA registration or eligibility, if required.
