Assignment Details

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Schedule: 5x8 and 4x10s varying shift times between 7a-7p
Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required

The Cardiac Cath Lab performs minimally invasive cardiac procedures and offers a full-service Electrophysiology (EP) program.

Candidates may be assigned to support other Cardiovascular departments, including:
"Cardiac Cath Lab
"Electrophysiology (EP)
"Cath Holding

Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!!
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry
ARRT candidates will not be considered

Required Certs

BLS
ACLS
One of the following current credentials:
"RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
"RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist)
"RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)

Call Expectations

Position is scheduled for 40 hours per week
While most shifts are approximately 8 hours, some days may extend beyond 8 hours based on procedural volume
Overtime should be expected
Call rotates among all Cath Lab staff and averages approximately 12 call days per month, including weekends
Travelers must be willing to cover holiday call.
