Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts; 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call Requirements: Case-by-case basis; no set schedule, but call is required
• Weekend Requirements: Can be discussed with manager
• Floating: Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs; floating required to all 3 sister hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, Martin Tradition within 20 miles)
• Travel Requirements: Travel/Contract position

Job Summary

This position is seeking a team player with Cardiac Cath Lab experience and Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro experience. The candidate must have two of four modalities experience, and this must be reflected in the candidate's work history.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform procedures as a Scrub Technologist specializing in the Cath Lab
• Provide Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and/or Neuro procedure support as needed
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including floating to all three sister hospitals (Martin North, South, and Tradition within 20 miles)
• Respond to call requirements on a case-by-case basis as directed by the Nurse Manager
• Prioritize time-sensitive modules immediately upon confirmation of assignment do not delay
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including nicotine-free and COVID-19/flu vaccination policies

Required Skills

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience (required)
• Must have experience in at least two of the four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
• Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty
• AHA ACLS certification (required)
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Ability to float between facilities within scope of practice
• Availability for call as needed (no set call schedule)
• All RTO must be submitted upfront at time of submission RTO added later will likely not be approved
• Must be nicotine free (negative 10-panel nicotine/cotinine drug screen required, no exceptions)

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of experience in specialty (preferred)
• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred
• RCIS preferred (in addition to required certifications)

Education Requirements

• AHA ACLS certification Required
• AHA BLS certification Required
• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) Preferred
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Preferred
• Pending license: NOT accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of experience in Cath Lab specialty Required
• 2 years of experience in specialty Preferred
• Experience in at least two of four modalities (Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Neuro) Required; must be documented in candidate's work history
• First-time travelers accepted

• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Block schedule: NOT available
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• COVID-19 vaccination: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Flu vaccination: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

• All RTO must be included at time of submission. Any RTO added later will likely not be approved by the client.
• SMOKE FREE FACILITY: All travelers must be nicotine free no exceptions. A negative 10-panel nicotine (cotinine) drug screen is required.
• There are time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized immediately once confirmed for an assignment. Please do not delay.
