• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts; 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call Requirement: Required on a case-by-case basis; no set schedule call expectations will be discussed with the Nurse Manager
• Floating: Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs; floating required to all 3 sister hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, Martin Tradition within 20 miles)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This position is seeking a team player with Cardiac Cath Lab experience and Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro experience. Candidates must have experience in at least two of the four modalities, and this must be reflected in the candidate's work history. The role is based at a Short Term Acute Care facility with 180 staffed beds, utilizing EPIC for charting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties specializing in the Cath Lab
• Provide support across Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and/or Neuro modalities (two of four required)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities as required
• Respond to on-call requirements on a case-by-case basis as directed by the Nurse Manager
• Prioritize time-sensitive modules immediately upon confirmation of assignment do not delay

Required Skills

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Experience in at least two of the four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
• Demonstrated multi-modality experience must be clearly reflected in work history
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities within 20-mile radius
• Nicotine-free status required (negative 10-panel nicotine/cotinine drug screen required no exceptions)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (18 months required; 2 years preferred)
• Experience in all four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and Neuro

Education Requirements

• AHA ACLS certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred, in addition to the required certifications
• Pending license not accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of experience in Cath Lab specialty required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Block schedule: Not available
• Weekend requirements: Can be discussed with manager
• Smoke-free facility all travelers must be nicotine-free; no exceptions

• All RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of submission any RTO added later will likely not be approved by the client
• There are time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized immediately once confirmed for an assignment do not delay
• Locals accepted at the same rate; local candidates welcome
• Negative 10-panel nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required prior to assignment
