• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• On-Call Requirements:

- Weekdays: 5:30 PM 7:00 AM - Weekends/Holidays: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM - 10 14 call shifts within a 42-day schedule

• Travel Requirements: Float between specialties within the lab required
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This position supports a STEMI and Stroke receiving center operating 4 labs. The role involves Monday Friday shifts with call requirements, plus Saturday/Sunday call requirements. The technologist will support cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures, including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR. EP/structural heart experience is not required; stroke/IR experience is ideally preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures
• Support TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR
• Fulfill on-call requirements on weekdays (5:30 PM 7:00 AM) and weekends/holidays (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
• Float between specialties within the lab as required

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a Cath Lab
• Stroke and/or interventional radiology (IR) experience (ideally)
• Ability to fulfill on-call schedule including weekday and weekend/holiday requirements
• EP/structural heart experience not required

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• ARRT certification required (RCIS also accepted)
• Fluoroscopy Permit required
• State license required (California)
• Pending license not accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in a Cath Lab required
• First-time travelers accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Acute Care Hospital beachside facility
• Total staffed beds: 266
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
• On-call required: Yes Monday Friday with call requirements; Saturday/Sunday call requirements
• Float between specialties within the lab required
• Block schedule accommodation: per manager discretion
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
• RTO must be included at time of submission
