• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 7:00 17:30

Job Summary

Seeking a team player with Cardiac Cath experience for a Cath Lab Technician position specializing as a Scrub Technologist in the Cath Lab setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.
• Float to all 3 sister hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition within 20 miles).
• Participate in required on-call rotation.
• Prioritize and complete time-sensitive onboarding modules promptly once confirmed for assignment these must not be delayed.

Required Skills

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience (scrub technologist focus).
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work call shifts.
• Willingness and ability to float to sister facilities within 20 miles.
• Nicotine-free status required negative 10-panel nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required (smoke-free facility, no exceptions).
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only).

Preferred Skills

• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred in addition to required certifications.

Education Requirements

• AHA ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred.
• Pending license not accepted.

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of experience in the Cath Lab specialty required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care.
• Total Staffed Beds: 180.
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue.
• Charting: EPIC.
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space.
• Call is required.
• Floating required to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition within 20 miles).
• Block schedule not available.
• Weekend requirements can be discussed with manager.

Important Notes

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts (3 shifts); 40 hours for 8- or 10-hour shifts.
• RTO: All requested time off must be included at time of submission. Any RTO added later will likely not be approved by the client.
• Smoke-Free Facility: All travelers must be nicotine-free, no exceptions. Negative 10-panel nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required.
• Time-Sensitive Modules: Traveler must be aware that there are time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized first once confirmed for an assignment. Please do not delay.
• Local Candidates: Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
