• Position Type: Contract (Travel/Allied)
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $80.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 4x10 Days primarily covering Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM, with 2 3 nights of on-call per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks traveler can be called off for 1 ten-hour shift per 2 weeks
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a CT Technologist travel/contract opportunity at a low-volume inpatient specialty facility in Anchorage, AK. The position provides CT and X-ray coverage, including X-ray with a Siemens portable and a C-arm for MBS studies, using a 16-slice CT scanner. The facility is seeking techs with experience working with older CT scanners as well as Siemens, Fuji, and C-arm equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging coverage for a low-volume inpatient specialty facility
• Operate a 16-slice CT scanner for diagnostic imaging
• Perform X-ray procedures using a Siemens portable unit and C-arm for MBS studies
• Float to a sister facility (Alaska Medical Center) within scope to assist with covering staffing needs as needed Saint Elias and PAMC are approximately 3 miles apart (approx. 10-minute drive)
• Fulfill on-call obligations of 2 3 nights of call per week
• Work weekends as required

Required Skills

• Experience working with older CT scanners (including older equipment models)
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners
• Experience with Siemens, Fuji, and C-arm X-ray equipment
• Ability to perform MBS studies using C-arm
• On-call availability: 2 3 nights per week required
• Weekend availability required
• Willingness and ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT/Radiology
• Experience with low-volume inpatient or specialty hospital settings preferred
