This position requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends on a 4/10 schedule:
- Thursday 10pm – 8am
- Friday 10pm – 8am
- Saturday 10pm – 8am
- Sunday 10pm – 8am
Responsibilities
- Perform quality CT examinations for physician review.
- Coordinate CT exams per physician order/protocol.
- Administer venipuncture and medications safely.
- Document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assess patient safety and cooperation before studies.
- Educate and address patient concerns before exams.
- Use PACS for image transmission and retrieval.
Education
- Graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent experience.
Certification & Licensure
- ARRT - Radiography and CT upon hire
- CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- IV Certification upon hire
- BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
- RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire
Preferred Experience
- Experience in an acute care facility
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledgeable in cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors.
- Proficient with computerized systems and PACS.
- Complies with all regulatory requirements.
