Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our imaging team in Buffalo, Minnesota. This position offers the opportunity to work in a community-focused healthcare setting while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across multiple care environments. Schedule

  • Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Schedule: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus flexibility to work two additional weekdays
  • Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
  • On-Call: None
  • Block Scheduling: Not available

Primary coverage is for the weekend shift, with scheduling flexibility for the remaining two weekdays.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the field
  • ARRT (CT) Certification required
  • BLS Certification required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Operate imaging equipment and PACS efficiently while following departmental protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain exams, and monitor patient condition throughout the scan.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality assurance and radiation safety standards.
  • Provide imaging support across multiple clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room environments.

  • Experience in:
    • Outpatient Imaging
    • Inpatient Imaging
    • Emergency Department (ER)
    • Operating Room (OR)
    • Community Hospital setting
  • Proficiency with PACS
  • CT procedure experience including:
    • Abdomen and Pelvis
    • Head and Neck
    • Chest
    • Spine
    • Musculoskeletal Imaging
    • CT Angiography (CTA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IV starts
  • Familiarity with Toshiba CT scanners

  • Average Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 50 patients
  • CT Scanner Rooms: 2
