SCHEDULING & CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS

" Years of Experience Required: 1 year (Trauma experience required)

" Accept 1st Time Travelers: Yes

" Locals Accepted: If traveler lives within 50 miles there will be a *** rate reduction***

" Shift: Sat/Sun/Mon 9a-10p; (1 hour lunch)

" Weekend Requirement: See Shift

" Holiday Requirement: Holidays required

" On Call Requirement: No

" Charting: Cerner experience preferred

" RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: Must be included at the time of submission.

" Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 3 shifts per 13-week assignment


REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

" License Requirements: NJDEP Radiologic Technologist License

" Required Certifications: Include with submission: BLS; ARRT - CT


DEPARTMENT DETAILS

" The Cat Scan department works closely with the ED, serving an inner-city community with stroke, adult and pediatric trauma services. The department operates three CT scanners, including two Client scanners in the Main CT department and one Toshiba scanner in the ED.

" Floating: No floating

" Scrub Color: Black top, black bottom, short white lab coat optional


REQUIRED SKILLS

" Procedures: General CT, Angiograms, Stroke, Trauma; IR procedures

" Equipment: Client and Toshiba Scanners

" Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic CT examinations; administer contrast; position patients; maintain required supplies; perform X-ray examinations (as needed).
