Job Description Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Mammography Training certification, 3D certification, Digital certification, CEUs required
Must-Have: Proof of 15 CEUs from the last 3 years Exam number from the last 2 years
Description: Minimum experience required is 1 year. The unit accepts first-time travelers. May be asked to provide proof of continuing education units. Schedule includes Saturdays. No on-call duty is required. Float within facility and scope of practice as needed. Once the candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile and determine fit. All compliance is required to start on time. Failure to comply on time may result in a two-week push back. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. No local candidates will be accepted at a different rate. Compliance must be met for onboarding, including core items and labs. All compliance documents are due prior to the start of the assignment. Modules of training are required and will vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
