Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract (Travel / Allied Health)
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $80.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 4x10 Variable Shift; Night Shift, 19:00 05:00
  • Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for an MRI Technologist at an acute hospital facility in Anchorage, AK. The facility operates a Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model on the unit. For every patient there is 1 bedside RN, 1 Virtual RN, and 1 CNA. Bedside RN and CNA patient ratios are 1:6. The virtual nurse works remotely and assists patients with admission questions, discharge education, care plans, education, CIWA, following up with MD, along with a plethora of other tasks that can be delegated to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging studies within scope of practice to meet facility needs
  • Float to like units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
  • Provide weekend coverage, which could be more frequent than every other weekend and is subject to staffing needs

Required Skills

  • MRI Technologist skills per unit demand (Per UD)
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to float within scope to like units as directed by facility

Education Requirements

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Must have applicable license/credential in hand for Auto Offer (pending license accepted at submittal)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted

  • RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in the submittal.
