MRI Tech Shift Details Primarily Mid Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM Occasional Day Shift or Evening Shift coverage may be required based on staffing needs. Technologists will not be scheduled past 9:30 PM. No on-call requirements No overnight shifts No weekend shifts Position Overview This position will primarily function as a Scanning MRI Technologist, working alongside a highly collaborative MRI team supporting both outpatient and inpatient imaging services. The ideal candidate must thrive in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. The selected candidate will receive support from: MRI Staff Technologists Charge Technologists MRI Safety Officer (MRSO) Registered Nurses (RN)-depending on shift Required Skills (Must-Haves) MRI credentials and prior hospital-based MRI experience Strong customer service mindset with a teamwork-driven approach Siemens MRI experience, including XA30 software experience (currently operating XA60) Equipment Experience Required Siemens MRI Scanners 3T VIDA 1.5T SOLA Experience with Siemens XA platform preferred XA30 experience required Current environment utilizes XA60 Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting both inpatient and outpatient MRI workflows Experience preparing outpatients for MRI procedures IV insertion and IV skill competency is a plus Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI examinations on inpatient and outpatient populations Ensure patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service throughout the imaging process Collaborate effectively with MRI technologists, nursing staff, charge technologists, and MRI safety personnel Follow department protocols and maintain compliance with hospital and MRI safety standards Contribute positively to a diverse, team-oriented work environment Additional Information Hospital environment Teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic clinical setting with varying patient volumes and acuity levels Years of experience REQ: 1 YR First-timers accepted: Yes Avg daily Census: 60 Visits/Day: 51 Rooms: 4 Beds: 438 Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?
