Description:
PET Tech for cancer center serving adults and geriatric patients. 3 years PET experience REQUIRED. Experience with GE Equipment REQUIRED. New service line, estimate 3-4 PET scans per day. Mon-Fri schedule.. No call. EPIC documentation, SBAR communication, and provider support including pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. Scrubs required (not provided), any color OK (no patterns/logos). 1st time traveler OK.
PET Tech will be responsible and accountable for patient assessment relative to the performance of NM and PET procedures, promotion of radiation safety, demonstration of safe and effective patient care, and preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the performance of scanning procedures for both in-patients and out-patients, working under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Radiologist.
Certifications Required:
BLS, CNMT, ARRT or NMTCB, State License (IL), and graduate of Nuclear Med program.
