• Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 07:00 17:30; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (Off on Wednesdays) 4 x 10-Hour Days

Job Summary

This is a high-risk OB/GYN residency clinic position in which the sonographer works out of one room and scans 8 10 ultrasounds daily. The candidate will function as a solo sonographer and must be strong, confident, and experienced the clinic will not accept first-time travelers. First-time traveler applicants will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily ultrasound scans with a case load of 8 10 studies per day, working from a single room
• Perform scans covering a broad range of patient diagnoses including: Dating, BPP, Growth, AFI, GYN, Pelvic Mass, abnormal endometrium, Biometry, crown rump length, and Pelvic studies
• Operate as a solo sonographer in a high-risk OB/GYN residency clinic setting
• Utilize Epic and Viewpoint unit systems for documentation and imaging workflow
• Complete unit orientation, which is dependent on experience but typically 40 hours

Required Skills

• Work Settings Skills: Adult, High Risk OB & Obstetrics
• Fetal Skills: Abdomen, Abdominal Circumference, Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Diaphragm, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Fingers/Toes, Gender, Head & Heart
• OB/GYN Skills: 1st 3rd Trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Multiple pregnancy & Placenta Previa
• Professional Knowledge and Skills: Management/lead experience
• Epic proficiency required
• Must be strong and confident as a solo sonographer
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Clinic will not accept first-time travelers

Preferred Skills

• RDMS-AB credential
• Experience with portables, general ultrasound procedures, amniocentesis, and UA Doppler
• Experience working in an outpatient setting
• Work Settings Skills: Maternal Fetal Medicine
• OB/GYN Skills: Fetal Echo, Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements, Nuchal Translucency Screen & Umbilical Cord Doppler
• Procedures Skills: Amniocentesis

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARDMS certification required
• ARDMS-OB/GYN certification required
• Preferred certifications: ARDMS-AB, ARDMS-FE, and NT-Nuchal Translucency

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Clinic will not accept first-time travelers

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• High-risk OB/GYN residency clinic environment
• Solo sonographer role no additional sonographer support on-site
• Daily case load: 8 10 scans; works out of one room
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Scrubs: Royal Blue (not provided by facility)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Locals accepted (rate difference may apply)

Important Notes

• RTO (Return to Origin) after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a contract cancellation and DNR (Do Not Re-Hire).
• Manager will not extend an offer without speaking to/interviewing the candidate first. Please provide interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting.
