Position Summary : Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a qualified and experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment within the Radiology department. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging standards, and compliance with all hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging techniques for optimal results
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff for patient care coordination
Document procedures accurately according to facility guidelines
Provide compassionate and professional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of permanent X-ray experience in the specialty (required for travel compliance)
Active BLS Certification
Must hold an active ARRT and Ohio state license at time of submission (compact license accepted per policy guidelines)
