Position: X-Ray Tech

Shift: 3x12's 5:00-17:00

Rotating Every 4th weekend

First-timers accepted: Yes

Is on-call REQ? Yes, 3 shifts per month

Required Certs: BLS, ARRT

Pending State License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB

RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays

Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.

Special Requirements: Must be proficient in routine x-ray, portables, surgery and fluoroscopy. They will perform imaging on inpatients, outpatients and ER patients. Must be comfortable with OR cases, Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. Cerner required.

Work Settings: Adult Acute Care, adult outpatient, beside, pediatric outpatient.
