Position Details

• Position Float: Yes, this position will float between units.
• On-Call Requirement: No
• Weekend Requirement: No
• Block Schedules: Not required
• Patient Ratios: Patient ratios are not measured in Diagnostic Radiology. The role may involve imaging up to 30 patients per day.

Special Requirements

• Ability to independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams.
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures.
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment is required.
• Strong patient care and communication skills are essential.

Department Uniform/Dress Code

• Licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) should wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit-specific scrub attire.
• Unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) should wear solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
