SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

" Shift hours: 5x8, Mon-Fri 715a--5p. (not over 8 hours, but start and end times may fluctuate a bit)
NO Call

" Charting-Epic Experience Required

" RTO: ALL requests must be included with the submission.

" Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

" Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

" Locals Accepted? No. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria

REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

" BLS

" Pending License Accepted:- Virginia state license required. Any active state license (in hand) is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with a license so they can work while their permanent VA license is processing.

REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS

" OR experience Required

" Experience with Siemens -strongly preferred

" Work Settings: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bedside/Portable Procedures, Pediatric Outpatient

" Abdomen/GI: Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), Abdomen upright

" Lower Ext: Ankle, Calcaneus, Femur, Foot, Knee, Patella, Tibia-fibula, Toes, Trauma lower extremity

" Upper Ext: AC joints, Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Humerus, Scapula, Shoulder, Thumb or finger, Wrist

" Spine and Pelvis: Cervical Spine, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Thoracic Spine

UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

" Patient population: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Geriatrics.
---May be required to float if staffing needs change

" Special Procedures/Equipment:

" Big C-arm (3rd floor: Total joints, i.e., hips, shoulders; Other Ortho cases; Choles; Cochlear implants; Bladder stimulator, etc.)

" Mini C-arm ( Smaller Ortho cases....we set the mini up and send the images to PACs after case is done; we don't have to stay in for the case.)

" Portable images (Post Op total knees, abdomens and other imaging as needed)

" Pain injections Big C-arm with cases one right after the other typically until )AP/Lat spines)

" OR techs also cover a Diagnostic Imaging area (Patients from Employee Health, Wound Care, Occupational Health, & Inpatient Rehab)
