    Hours: Per Diem/PRN (0.0) FTE

    Location: Plymouth, IN

    About the Role

    Saint Joseph Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Associate (Area: Radiology) to join our Radiology team. In this role, you will support CT/Rad Technologists in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring a safe, patient-centered experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a radiologic technology student or recent graduate to gain hands-on clinical experience in a collaborative hospital environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist Radiology Technologists in performing radiographic procedures under direct supervision

    • Support patient positioning and safely assist or hold patients during imaging procedures

    • Prepare exam rooms and patients prior to procedures, including fluoroscopy exams

    • Assist Radiologists and Technologists during imaging and interventional procedures

    • Transport patients to and from the Radiology department safely and efficiently

    • Perform general support functions, including:

    • Answering phones and relaying messages

    • Obtaining and communicating orders (including verbal orders)

    • Preparing images and reports upon request

    • Operate and demonstrate knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including portable units and image viewing systems

    • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety principles

    • Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, including proper use of positioning devices

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Must be a current second-year student or graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program

    Licensure/Certification

    • Current BLS/CPR certification required

    Experience & Skills

    • Foundational knowledge of radiographic imaging and techniques

    • Strong analytical and organizational skills to support Radiology operations

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
