Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Works collaboratively with the Radiology/Medical Imaging/Diagnostic Center management team, hospital physicians, staff and outside agencies to provide state-of-the-art imaging services in the community. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of all Imaging departments. Plans, directs and manages cost effective patient care to assure compliance with standards, policies, procedures and budgets. Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care through the utilization of appropriate staffing, supplies and equipment in accordance with accreditation and licensing requirements. Responsible for the ongoing development, hiring and evaluation of assigned associates. Accountable for the development/analysis of operational and revenue budgets for all Imaging departments. With the Director, works collaboratively to develop short/long term capital budget requirements for all Radiology departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a health-care related field or equivalent combination of education & radiology experience required. Bachelor's degree in a health-care related field preferred.
Current certification in at least one of the Radiology Technology disciplines required; multiple certifications preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiology required in order to gain full knowledge of tests and procedures, review protocol and work of radiology personnel.
Minimum of 2 years radiology leadership experience required.
