Description:

Purpose: bridges clinical expertise and healthcare administration. The Radiology Manager oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and staffing of the medical imaging department (X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound), ensuring patient safety, workflow efficiency, and compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.

What you will do:

Administrative Management: Develop and implement department policies, manage resource allocation, and oversee procurement and maintenance of state-of-the-art imaging equipment.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and evaluate a team of radiologic technologists and support staff. Coordinate scheduling to provide comprehensive service.
  • Financial Operations: Propose and justify annual capital and operating budgets, manage revenue cycles, and ensure cost-effective inventory control.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with safety guidelines from bodies like The Joint Commission, ACR, and state regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is the minimum, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Clinical Radiation Science or Healthcare Administration preferred.

  • Certification: Professional certification such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or similar credentialing (e.g., ARDMS) is required.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible clinical/managerial experience.
