Radiology Tech

Seeking a Radiology Tech for a diagnostic radiology position. The facility has a significant average of patients per day, ranging from 350 to 400. There are multiple X-ray suites available for use. The department sees both adults and pediatrics, including neonates. Patients come from various areas including the emergency department, ICUs, and outpatient settings. The tech will rotate through different areas including the emergency department and operating room. Daily responsibilities include imaging of the head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest. Techs will also participate in operations involving spinal, orthopedic, general surgery, neuro, and pediatrics. The environment is fast-paced with a high patient acuity level, requiring strong clinical skills. Support is available from a lead tech and supervisor, along with many other radiology techs on staff during various shifts. There will be interactions with medical residents and fellows. The culture is focused on teamwork and a high level of clinical skill. The facility provides training and development opportunities. Scrubs are provided when assigned to the operating room.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required. License: Required License. Certifications: ARRT-R and BLS required. Must-Have: - Trauma facility experience. - General X-ray imaging capabilities. - Comfort with trauma patients and portables. - C-arm experience is required. - EPIC experience is required. - Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
