Facility: Forsyth Medical Center | Location: Winston-Salem, NC | Position Type: Part-Time | Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
What We're Looking For:
Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT. IF RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
Experience: IF RT(R): Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures required. IF RN: Minimum one year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures required.
Licensure/certification/registration: IF RT(R): ARRT required. IF RN: state RN license required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. IF RN: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
What You'll Do:
Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures
Care for patients undergoing invasive procedures in CT and ultrasound
Support patients undergoing Cardiolite stress test procedures
Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members throughout the patient care process
Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Participate in the department's required call rotation
Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
